You need a car to get there. One of the most prominent features of the landscape is the Sun Cruise, and what you are going to experience will definitely last a lifetime. You could be on your porch drinking coffee or tea, holding hands together with your partner or family, and friends.

I know it may sound funny but this is Korean tradition to celebrate the new year together and watch the first sunrise of the new year on the beach. Some people go to the beach like us, but while a more enthusiastic person will actually climb the mountain to witness the first sunrise.

I know that a lot of people love to party and drink with friends or family in the New Year but for us, we like to watch the first sunrise of the year on the beach. You don’t need to be a romantic to be able to watch the sunrise or sunsets because this is one of the most amazing things in our world that we can see and enjoy every day, and the best things are it is FREE!

If you like photography as much as I do, be sure to take a lot of photos here. We took hundreds of pictures of the sunrise, but they all look the same to me. LOL! Sunrise signifies that start of a brand new day! 

Although this was not my first time seeing the sunrise in Korea, however, I always love to watch the sunrise or sunset. The experience of seeing the sunrise in New Year is worth a lot more compared to anything. I live in a city with a lot of houses and buildings that obstruct the view and I sleep late so I don’t often see the sunrise but it’s always a treat when I do.

I don't know about you, but whenever after I watching the sunrise I feel empowered to face the day and all of its struggles. Many times that I felt like my life are filled with worries about many things, I try to watch a sunrise and suddenly my mood changes. It’s a proven my mood booster. I am reminded that I have to letting go and moving forward.

Today is a new day. Yesterday has come and gone. It's time to take a breath, forget about the past, and appreciate the new day God has given. Then I make it a habit to appreciate the sunrise every new year and gaze with a grateful heart. I promise to myself that whenever New Year I will try to go to the beach and watch the sunrise.
