Visit Clarke Quay and Helix Bridge to relax

Singapore it is still one of my favourite country! I love the culture, delicious food, beautiful places and not to mention, shopping paradise! This post will be about things to do in Singapore! The Clarke Quay has come to be one of the more iconic landmarks in Singapore. I love to spend my time here whether it's seeing the crowds at Clarke quay, boats passing by, or just chatting with my friends while enjoying the cake we ordered at a cafe in Clarke quay.

Clarke Quay is an entertainment area along the Singapore River with lots of restaurants and bars.

Clarke Quay is the largest night spot in Singapore. In addition, in terms of taking photos, Clarke Quay is one of the night view spots in Singapore. There is Robertson Quay in the west and Boat Quay in the east around Clarke Quay.

The Boat Quay is one of Singapore’s mist visit site with historical importance. The place came in the upfront from being a part of Singapore’s key economy to playing a vital role in trade.

River cruise ships went by.

Here are some snap photos around the Central.

After walking through the area, My friend and I decided to take a break and select a cafe along the river, eat the dessert with a view. We ordered strawberry tiramisu to share.

The way back to the hotel, we found a hallway, many people were passing by. We also saw a busker who was singing and his voice was very good.

We walked around Clarke Quay and found a very beautiful bridge, the color of the bridge changes color every second.

Let's continue reading to find out my travel itinerary at Helix bridge! After the Clarke quay, we walked to the Helix bridge, the distance between Clark quay to the Helix bridge was not close, but my friends and I decided to just walk. Besides saving money, we can also exercise at night. lol

From afar, it looks like a twisting, twirling, jewelled snake of colour-changing lights suspended above the Singapore River.

The Helix Bridge is illuminated at night by ribbons of LED lighting accentuating the interplay of the two helix tubes and their intervening, connecting ties. Four ovular-shaped ‘pods’ cantilever out from the structure enabling people to gain wider appreciation of the bridge form and providing gathering space for viewing bay events.

As the longest pedestrian bridge in Singapore, it doesn’t disappoint. It offers amazing views of other iconic landmarks including the majestic Singapore Flyer, the imposing Marina Bay Sands, the lotus-inspired ArtScience Museum and the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay.

If you are planning to visit Singapore as a tourist, you must include Helix Bridge in your itinerary! Once known as the Double Helix Bridge, the Helix Bridge is a favorite among the pedestrians. It is the world’s first double helix bridge. This bridge connects the Marina Centre with the Marina South in the Marina Bay area.

That’s it for the article about Clarke Quay and Helix Bridge. If you have a chance to travel to Singapore, I would recommend you visit Clarke Quay and Helix Bridge to relax.
